The Heart Behind the Horse Box
Based in Bedford and serving events across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas, Shutter and Saddle is a one-of-a-kind experience on wheels. Launched in 2026, our beautifully converted horsebox brings an instant wow-factor to any celebration. More than just a photo booth, it’s a unique talking point that guarantees your guests will be talking about your event long after the party ends.
The Renovation
Shutter & Shuttle Photobooth began as a run-down horse box in desperate need of some major T.L.C. The aim: to transform it into a charming, rustic mobile photo booth perfect for any celebration.
The journey started by stripping the horse box down to its bare bones and restoring the chassis and exterior. We treated the chassis and laid brand-new flooring. The exterior had brand new panels and the metalwork was sanded and given a fresh coat of paint. Next came the interior transformation. The walls were panelled with rustic wood and the outside was bought inside with the unique greenery wall.
Brand new electrics were fitted to the horsebox to power our professional lighting and booth equipment. The screen, camera and lighting was mounted to the walls and cabinets build to house the printer and electrics.
With the foundation set, we let our creativity run wild, adding the final decorative touches that brought our vintage booth to life. We are extremely happy with the final results of the build and can't wait to share it wil you all.
